The museum’s current exhibit, The Underground Railroad: Freedom Seekers on the B&O Railroad, highlights the stories of 27 individuals who used the Underground Railroad to get to freedom.

 

Maryland Science Center

This science museum aims to make learning fun. Hands-on and immersive exhibits range from outer space to the human body. Currently on display, the 12,000-square-foot exhibit You – The Inside Story invites guests to learn more about our senses, reflexes and mind.

 

The American Visionary Art Museum

This unique museum focuses on thematic exhibitions combining art, science, philosophy, humor, social justice and betterment. On display through Sept. 3, the exhibit ABUNDANCE: Too Much, Too Little, Just Right, features works meant to elicit joy.

 

The National Aquarium

The popular aquarium is located on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Available on weekends, take a Family Sunrise Tour, offering travelers an exclusive look at the aquarium before it opens to the public.

 

The Port Discovery Children’s Museum

Located downtown, this children’s museum highlights the joyfulness of play, diversity, inclusion, creativity and innovation. The museum currently hosts The Playhouse, an exhibit for ages up to 10 years old, encouraging kids to create live theater.
