Luxury

Just because you’re traveling in high style doesn’t mean the kids have to be left out of the fun. These luxury hotels cater to kids’ needs with fun activities that’ll make everyone happy.

At London’s Marylebone, the property offers a Harry Potter’s Magical London experience you may love just as much as the kids. A local host will take you around spots in the city that provided inspiration for scenery found within the books. You’ll make a stop at a visiting exhibition on the magical world, before you cap off the day with tickets to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Entrance to Regent’s Park and the London Zoo are both included.

If your child is a little chef in training, the Mini Chef program at Nantucket’s White Elephant could be a great fit. Children can attend 45-minute weekly sessions all through the month of August to decorate yummy cupcakes and cookies. If you can’t make it to the property in August, ask for some of the specialty children’s amenities, like all the supplies you’ll need for a guestroom camp out, including a teepee and faux campfire.

Jamaica’s lovely GoldenEye resort provides two programs to keep kids entertained. An expert gardener leads children’s activities regularly, ranging from nature walks to coconut carving. Then, every day, kids can also participate in a children’s-only yoga session.

Royal Mansour just opened its new Kid’s Club for a unique experience at this Moroccan oasis. They’ll enjoy locally inspired art activities and lessons in Arabic, among others. Plus, every child guest receives a fun book about the hotel.

Likewise, La Réserve Geneva offers new children’s experiences at the La Petit Réserve. Kids can scramble across the treehouse, which includes game tables, an obstacle course and suspension bridge. Kids can also sign up for swimming, diving and tennis lessons, or take to the water for sailing, paddle boarding, wake boarding and wind surfing. One of the newest offerings is a series of cooking lessons from a nutritionist, incorporating the basics of healthy eating. An osteopath is also now on staff for kids’ soccer and dance workshops.

Meanwhile, the Kid’s Club at Domaine de Manville has been converted into a gypsy caravan, where activities include fun D.I.Y. projects, like making homemade jam from fruit that grows right on the property.

Stay in New York soon to take advantage of The Chatwal’s Family Excursion Package. You’ll receive 25 percent savings on a second guestroom, complimentary meals for kids under 12 and some nice kids’ amenities, everything you’ll need for a family movie night and milk and cookies at turndown.
