Family travelers have a new place to stay when visiting Fredericksburg, Texas. Albert Hotel opened Jan. 3, from independent hospitality brand New Waterloo.

The property boasts 105 guestrooms, with family-friendly designs from bunk rooms to spacious suites. Rooms feature tiled showers, custom built-ins, green color palettes and custom-designed Mirth robes. Spa at Albert Hotel opens today, with seven private treatment rooms.
Dine at the hotel’s four distinct dining experiences. The Restaurant features seasonal fare from a Michelin-starred chef for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Modeled after an 1800s watering hole, The Saloon serves beer, whiskey and bar snacks. The Pharmacy market offers coffee drinks, pastries, sandwiches and retail items. Junebug’s BBQ debuts in spring 2025. Albert Hotel also features 3,600 square feet of flexible event space for meetings and events up to 250 guests.

“This project represents our vision of hospitality,” said Bart Knaggs, CEO, New Waterloo. “The Albert Hotel is more than a property; it’s our love letter to Fredericksburg, which embodies years of meticulous planning and a profound respect for local history.”
Albert Hotel marks the first of two January hotel openings from New Waterloo, with Fidelity Hotel in Cleveland, Ohio, slated to debut Jan. 27.
