Add some terror to your family travel — if you dare! Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights adds The Horrors of Blumhouse haunted house to its spooky lineup, with the new attraction inspired by Blumhouse’s supernatural thriller The Black Phone and horror-comedy Freaky. At Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, the frightening event starts Sept. 2 and Sept. 8, respectively.
The Horrors of Blumhouse transports guests to an alternate dimension with real scares. In The Black Phone, The Grabber is a demented magician known for making people disappear permanently; at Universal Studios, visitors find themselves trapped in his “fun house.” Inspired by Freaky, visitors also must outrun serial killer The Butcher, who switched bodies with a high school girl after being cursed by The La Dola Dagger, an ancient Aztec blade.
Tickets to Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights are available now; purchase tickets onlineor at the front gate with early admission beginning at 6 p.m. A variety of ticket options include General Admission, Universal Express, Frequent Fear and more.
Tickets are also on sale for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort, with vacation packages also available.
Both events run through Oct. 31.
