Amtrak, Crayola Partner for New Crayola Experience

Amtrak kicks off summer with a new and colorful partnership with Crayola, making family travel on the rails all the more vibrant and fun. The partnership invites families to climb aboard the Amtrak Auto Train in various locations across the country, including Lorton, Virginia, and Sanford, Florida.

Thanks to the partnership, children can travel free in coach class or in first class private rooms on trips through Aug. 31. Additionally, with the purchase of an Amtrak child ticket, children can enjoy free admission to Crayola Experience. This additional offer is available for travel through Aug. 31 at Easton, Pennsylvania; Mall of America, Minnesota; Orlando, Florida; and Plano, Texas.

The Crayola Experience includes experiences like Dino Quest Craft Theme, Scribble Scrubbies, Silly Selfies, Cartoon Creator and Activity Studio. Experiences vary by location.

To honor the partnership, two ACS-64 Sprinter electric locomotives powering Amtrak trains will showcase Crayola crayon designs. Look for these rolling displays along the Northeast Corridor, from Washington, D.C., to Boston. One locomotive is draped in Violet Blue and features the collection of eight beloved retired crayon colors Crayola recently brought back for a limited time, a first in the company’s 122-year history.

The second locomotive is covered in Dandelion, a fan-favorite color. This locomotive also stars crayon character Dan D, the Crayola Ambassador of Creativity.
