Blue Mountain Resort, in the Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains, gears up to welcome family travelers for green season. The season begins this month with the reopening of outdoor attractions such as Pennsylvania’s only lift-served bike park, overnight camping and glamping, and Summit Adventure Park. That’s just the beginning; here’s what else is in store:
Camping and Glamping
Starting May 16, travelers can stay in accommodations like traditional tents, RV parking sites or a variety of glamping options. The campsites are located on mountain prairie fields and feature amenities like picnic tables, fire rings, bathrooms and showers. Travelers choosing the glamping option can expect scenic mountain sites with solar lighting, charging stations, bunk beds, air mattresses, coolers, solar showers, benches, Adirondack chairs and picnic tables.
Summit Adventure Park
Summit Adventure Park will welcome guests on weekends starting May 16. This park has everything adventure travelers will love, such as zip lines; high ropes courses; laser tag; archery tag; nighttime climbing; and the Adventure Cube, a four-sided climbing structure.
Mountain Biking
Pennsylvania’s only lift-served bike park is set to open May 22, featuring intense vertical drops, 30 downhill trails, beginner-friendly follow trails, technical singletrack and jumplines. The park also offers rentals, protective gear, repair services and introductory lessons.
Summer Adventure Camps
From June 22, kids ages 5–15 can attend Summer Adventure Camps, offering day and overnight programming. Kids can expect activities such as zip lining, rock climbing, hiking, team building challenges, and other outdoor activities encouraging exploration and confidence.

With the program, TAP passengers, whether traveling for business, leisure or both, can stop in Portugal for up to 10 days at no additional airfare on the way to their final destination. What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.
