Featuring three routes (Royal, European and Schaerbeek), each includes immersive and poetic works by national and international artists. On top of new and original installations, the festival’s extension into Schaerbeek provides more opportunities for visitors to enjoy the lights.

“Schaerbeek has a long tradition of illuminated festivities, thanks to the Citizen Light Festival,” said Cécile Jodogne, mayor, Schaerbeek. “It was, therefore, natural for it to join forces with the region’s Bright Festival initiative and promote Schaerbeek beyond its borders. The commune also has a rich Art Nouveau heritage. This event is an opportunity to showcase this heritage and I am sure it will leave the public with stars in their eyes.”
Across four nights, exceptional programming awaits visitors and locals. Open to all ages, the festival offers illuminated works of art, late-night museum visits and guided tours. Tours bring guests on a nighttime discovery of Brussels’ streets with a promise of a multisensory experience.
More details on the festival’s programming will be released here in the coming weeks.
