Blue Mountain Resort, located in the foothills of Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, announced its exciting outdoor season opening dates. Adventure lovers of all ages can find the right outdoor challenges and thrills at the resort. The Mountain Bike Park invites all levels of bikers to enjoy scenic trails in Pennsylvania’s highest vertical and largest bike park.
All outdoor sports lovers and mountain adventurers will enjoy thrills, relaxation and memory-making action. The following attractions are currently open or plan to open by the end of May.
The resort’s scenically situated camping and glamping offerings are available through October and offer everything camping enthusiasts look for. Guests can also explore the 4.5-mile Blue Burn Hiking Trail.
The resort’s 29 trails of mountain biking serviced by the high-speed Comet Quad Lift opens for season pass holders the weekend of May 13. The resort’s scenic lift up and down the mountain also opens this weekend. You won’t want to miss these rides as they offer some of the best views of the Poconos. Another attraction opening this weekend is the new disc golf course, where players throw a disc at different targets among the mountains.
Starting May 20, a favorite seasonal attraction, Summit Adventure Park, opens, featuring a ropes course, zip line, rock climbing, archery and more. The park also debuts a new attraction, Adventure Cube, a four-sided, open “cage-like” experience with various climbing obstacles.
