Celebrate 150 Years of Holiday Magic at This San Francisco Hotel

Festive experiences begin Thanksgiving, with a buffet of traditional and international cuisine at Garden Court. Opt for a more intimate, three-course meal at Pied Piper. Attend the property’s annual tree lighting ceremony Dec. 5, 6–8 p.m. This year’s theme is The Nutcracker. Delight in live music, complimentary hot cider, hot cocoa and ginger cookies during the event.

Bring your little ones to a special afternoon tea with Santa, offered select dates throughout the holiday season. Adults may opt for the adults-only Tipsy Gingerbread Workshop. Available Dec. 12 and 19, 4–5:30 p.m., the gingerbread house-making session will be led by the hotel’s executive pastry chef. Garden Court hosts holiday music performed live by a string band every Monday and Tuesday, 12–2 p.m., in December. The restaurant also hosts a lavish Christmas Day brunch with a carving station, festive dim sum, raw oysters, decadent desserts and more.
