This summer, DC and Six Flags collaborate for the first time to launch a fully immersive, theatrical takeover of its Six Flags Magic Mountain (Valencia, California) and Six Flags Great Adventure (Jackson, New Jersey) locations. The DC Heroes & Villains Festival transforms these parks into Gotham City, inviting family travelers to enjoy Broadway-level production, original film-style scoring and a five-hour storyline told across 15 scripted performance moments.
Expect parades, villain dance parties, street theater, live concerts, interactive games and a massive stunt-driven finale. From the moment visitors enter, they must choose sides and navigate through character-driven encounters, like Wonder Woman and Superman. Real-time narratives feature The Joker, Lex Luthor, Catwoman, Harley Quinn and more.
Highlights will include The Joker’s Dance Party: Mixtape Edition and Harley Quinn & The Hyenas: Howl Like a Beast! There will also be themed rides like BATMAN The Ride, WONDER WOMAN Flight of Courage, THE RIDDLER’s Revenge and LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom.
The production, led by WOW! Entertainment, will include talent from Disney, Broadway and major stunt shows.
The DC Heroes and Villains Festival will be held June 19 to July 26 on Friday and Saturday at Six Flags Magic Mountain and from Aug. 7 to Sept. 1 on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Labor Day at Six Flags Great Adventure.
