Grand Central Terminal’s Annual Holiday Fair officially opens to the public, inviting family travelers to take part in a myriad of festive activities everyone can enjoy. The six-week-long fair showcases 36 local artisan vendors and small businesses offering unique products.
Additional festive features of the fair include a Thanksgiving Market, Holiday Train Show and Holiday Wrap-Up. On top of these fun events, Grand Central Terminal invites all to explore its new Grand Central Market dining concourse.
The Thanksgiving Market opens today only, Nov. 22, until 6 p.m. Here, retailers sell delicious treats, baked goods and seasonal bites.
Returning for the first time since 2019, New York Transit Museum’s Holiday Train Show showcases an intricate display of model trains departing from a miniature replica of Grand Central Terminal. Kids and parents alike love watching the collection of model train sets making their way past New York landmarks toward the North Pole. Tickets are $5 and advance reservations are required.
And for those planning on doing some holiday shopping, Grand Central Terminal’s Holiday Wrap-Up is here to help. Free of charge for shoppers with receipts from any Grand Central Terminal tenant, the Holiday Wrap-Up provides one-of-a-kind gift-wrap paper resembling the ceiling of the main concourse. The Holiday Wrap-Up is open Dec. 8–22 daily, 12–6 p.m., in the Biltmore Room.
