Take family travel to new heights: Edge at Hudson Yards recently announced Sky Skate Presented by Dunkin’ Rewards, New York City’s highest skating rink. Visit and skate on a 1,024-square-foot Glice rink, a zero-energy ecological and synthetic ice rink on the indoor portion of Edge’s sky deck.
Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, offering 360-degree views of the city’s skyline. The deck sits 1,131 feet in the air; extends 65 feet out from the 100th floor of 30 Hudson Yards; and features a glass floor, angled glass walls and outdoor skyline steps from the 100th to the 101st floors. The bar serves cocktails and seasonal treats, while Peak, a restaurant, bar and event space, is on the 101st floor, just above Edge.
Visitors must reserve 30-minute intervals for Sky Skate, open daily 10 a.m.–10 p.m., and tickets include skate rentals and entry to Edge. Dunkin’ Rewards, the brand’s revamped loyalty program, sponsors Sky Skate. When Dunkin’ Rewards members visit Sky Skate, they can access special promotions and giveaways throughout the season.
Reach even higher heights at City Climb, also at Edge and the highest external building climb in the world. Atop the sky deck, guests scale the outside of the 1,200-foot supertall building and lean out an outdoor platform at the top of the skyscraper.
