Fairmont Scottsdale Princess undergoes a full-scale holiday transformation each year, and 2026 is no exception. Christmas at the Princess offers something for every guest, from festive family vacations to romantic, cozy escapes. Families enjoy ice skating beneath the desert sky, meeting Santa, riding a 120-foot Ferris wheel (the largest traveling wheel in the country) and s’mores around fire pits. Couples or adult travelers can find a more intimate side of the celebration with private igloos, Champagne by the fire, illuminated garden strolls and seasonal dining.
2026 marks the 17th year for the Christmas at the Princess event, which has become one of the country’s most spectacular holiday resort experiences. While there’s so much to do and see, family travelers will want to be sure to check out highlights like 2 miles of lights surrounding the four-story Enchanted Plaza tree; a 6,000-square-foot outdoor ice rink featuring real ice; 128 fire tables and private igloos offering ways to celebrate, from Château Champagne’s private holiday retreat to Village Igloos; and two Santa experiences, seven Christmas characters and nightly light shows.
