Once you’ve done all the fall activities, take an airboat tour through the Kissimmee Everglades with Wild Florida. You might be able to spot alligators, herons and other unique animals while gliding through the fall foliage. For a more laid-back experience, kayak or canoe at Shingle Creek Paddling Center or visit Lake Tohopekaliga.
Adventurous families can head to Gatorland and take a ride on the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line and soar over alligators. Or, for unbeatable views, walk along the treetops at Orlando Tree Trek Adventure Park.
For those preferring to stay on solid ground, make sure to explore fall foliage while hiking through one of the many scenic trails. At Twin Oaks Conservation Area, hike through freshwater marshes and a live oak hammock, while Shingle Creek offers various biking and hiking trails.
And no trip to Kissimmee is complete without a trip to the charming town of Celebration, famous for its stunning homes and friendly neighborhoods. Celebration Bike Rental allows families to rent bikes and explore the beautiful downtown area through a guided or self-guided tour.
