Outdoor Adventures
Witness beautiful fall foliage in Wilmington. Ramsey’s Farm hosts hayrides, bonfires and other fall fun for families. Brandywine Creek State Park boasts 14 miles of trails with stunning views. Head to White Clay Creek State Park for 37 miles of multiuse trails and fishing opportunities. Ashland Nature Center is set on 130 acres.
Historical Attractions
Visit some of the historic covered bridges throughout the region, including Ashland Covered Bridge, Wooddale Covered Bridge and Smith’s Bridge. Tour the historic estates and gardens owned by the du Pont family, including Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library; Hagley Museum and Library; Mt. Cuba Center; and Nemours Estate.
