Jaego’s House, a new kind of family club, announced plans to open soon to offer families a wide variety of facilities under one roof. The London-based club, situated in the heart of Kensal Rise, features areas for all ages, with places for children to let off steam and make friends and rooms for parents to enjoy time to themselves.
The jungle gym and soft play areas, designed for children aged 0–4 and 4–9, allows kids to let their imaginations and energetic selves run free. The soft play features a ball pit, ball blower, stepping stones, sensory lighting, mini-obstacles and wigwam. The jungle gym includes towers, bridges and tunnels to race through, a ball blower, smash hit ball put and a three-lane wave slide. Parents can relax in the designated seating area where free WiFi and a café serving snacks awaits. The café even features a “wine button” for parents wanting a glass.
Jaego’s House also offers a drop-in, spacious Crèche for babies and toddlers aged 0–4 and a fun Kids Club for children aged 4 and up. Staff from The Babysitting Club, an agency specializing in childcare professionals with a background in theater, looks after the kids while adults enjoy time alone. The Crèche features its own Little Hotel where babies and children can nap safely during the day. This space is under the care of Jaego’s House’s qualified team. Napping spaces include 100-percent cotton bed linen and quiet areas.

The Crèche comes fully stocked with games, toys and activities, such as a toy farmyard and mini kitchen. Building blocks, train track sets and baby buggies are also found within the space. Regular activities occurring in the space include arts and crafts, music and singing, role play and fun games. At the Kids’ Club, messy play, LEGO challenges, dodgeball tournaments, ballet workshops and more await kids. Open to kids aged 4 and up, kids at the Kids’ Club also enjoy access to the jungle gym and soft play.
On the ground floor of Jaego’s House lies Waterside Café and Restaurant. The menu caters to the whole family, with dishes like baked king prawns with garlic, lemon and parsley for adults and chicken and pumpkin seed “satay” for the little ones. Parents can also enjoy Jaego’s House’s wellness offerings, which includes two treatments rooms offering a range of spa treatments and health appointments. Opening late 2022, the space also features a programmed studio and fitness classes.
The Kensal House Nursery, situated in a building adjoining Jaego’s House, serves as a dynamic and diverse place for young children to play, develop and learn. Offering a curriculum with space for up to 100 children, the nursery includes a nursery manager with more than 30 years’ experience.
Membership for the house starts at £115 a month and £175 a month for the family.
