Perfect for family travelers, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit announces sustainable beeswax crayon workshops and in-suite star camp experiences.
Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit is not only an ideal spot for families, but also for bees to rest and feed during their pollination journey, supporting crop production, biodiversity, healthy soil, clean air and jobs. During the 30-minute workshop, children will learn the importance of bees in the ecosystem and about the resort’s conservation efforts before seeing how leftover beeswax can be repurposed into crayons and other useful products. Children can pick pigments and molds to customize the natural crayons and test their creations on paper before taking it all home with them. The beeswax crayon workshop is part of a partnership with AZPER Guardián de la Vida and is donation-based.
During the Suite Stars Camp experience, the terrace of two- or three-bedroom Family Residence Suites transforms into starlit campsites for an unforgettable night under the stars with teepees, fairy lights, galaxy-themed cookies and a high-quality telescope. A professional astronomer will host a one-hour session to observe constellations, while a three-hour nanny service will help keep kids entertained. Adults can enjoy a bottle of Moët & Chandon Champagne and a gourmet cheese board. After stargazing, families can enjoy a private movie night experience in the Kids Club with popcorn, ice cream and other treats.
The Suite Stars Camp also includes a 50-minute massage for one adult at SE Spa; access to the hydrotherapy circuit for each adult; 50 percent savings on round-trip airport transfers; personalized in-suite cocktail hour with a private bartender per stay; and daily in-suite amenities like fresh fruit, crudité and petit fours.
