With the cold weather here to stay, there are going to be days or nights where it might be too cold outside, which is the perfect time to have the ultimate winter movie marathon.
To make it even more exciting, start off by making a pillow and blanket fort for the family to snuggle up in for the movie marathon. Next, make sure to stock the fort with plenty of snacks and drinks so you don’t have to worry about getting up during the movie.
Depending on what streaming services you subscribe to, pick out which movies you want to watch. Here is a list of recommended movies, categorized by streaming service:
- Yes Day
- Happy Feet
- The Sandlot
- Horton Hears a Who!
- Trolls World Tour
- Space Jam
Disney+ has the most options for a family movie marathon since it offers everything, from all the Princess movies to everything Pixar. To save some time trying to decide, here are some suggestions, from can’t-miss classics to must-see new movies.
- Toy Story Saga
- Tangled
- Up
- Coco
- Big Hero 6
- Remember the Titans
- The Incredibles
- Onward
- Encanto
If you have older kids interested in superheroes and action, all of the Marvel movies are available to watch either in Timeline order or the Phases in which they were released. I highly recommend checking these movies out, as well.
