Killashee Hotel in Kildare, Ireland, offers family travelers wanting more of a relaxing vacation the new Family Summer Staycation package. The hotel’s location just outside of Naas makes for many opportunities to explore the surrounding area, both off and on the property.

 

The Family Summer Staycation offer includes two nights of accommodations for two adults and up to three children in a spacious family room from €520 for the entire stay. The offer also comes with a full Irish breakfast each morning and a three-course dinner on an evening of the guests’ choice.

The offer allows families to take advantage of the area’s many attractions and sites. Kids love visiting Kildare Maze and Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park. Guests of Killashee Hotel also receive 10 percent off admission to the Irish National Stud Visitor Attraction Center.

 

Families don’t even need to leave the property to enjoy the beautiful Irish summer weather. Killashee Hotel lies on 55 acres and boasts an array of activities for the whole family to take part in. In addition to a woodland playground with its own zipline, the property also invites little ones to discover the Enchanted Fairy Forest and Butterfly Treasure Trail.

 

Kids can also pick up the hotel’s Bug Hunt kit to see what insects they can find along the Johnny Magory Heritage and Natural Trail. Killashee Hotel also features a swimming pool and a new ice cream parlor in the conservatory for guests to enjoy a complimentary welcome scoop. The conservatory also serves take-out sandwiches for families to bring on a picnic in the gardens.
