Fall festivals may seem like the last thing you want to think about right now, what with summer just getting started. If your family loves wine, food and Southern hospitality, you may want to check out the early-bird discounts offered to the Savannah Food & Wine Festival. The festival takes place Nov. 5–11, but tickets are already available and won’t get any cheaper than this.

Just to whet your appetite a bit for the festival to come, tickets include tastings, museum visits, chef-led events, music and special events and tours throughout the week. If anything here piques your interest, check out the 30 percent discounted tickets available for the beloved event, only available until June 17.

Join tastings with Whisky on the Water, Nov. 6, 7–9 p.m., at The Alida; or head to the James Beard Foundation and celebrity chef tour dinner, Nov. 7, 6 p.m.; the Grand Reserve Tasting, Nov. 8, 5:30–7:30 p.m., at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa; Secret Savannah Speakeasy, November 8, 8–10 p.m., at the Georgia State Railroad Museum; and the River Street Stroll, Nov. 9, 5:30–7:30 p.m., at Rousakis Plaza.

Toward the end of the festival, foodies and family visitors enjoy the Q-Masters, Chefs + Vets event Nov. 9, 8–10 p.m., again at the Georgia State Railroad Museum, before the same venue hosts the Taste of Savannah, Nov. 10, 1–4 p.m., while VIP Lounge guests head for early festival grounds access at 12:30 p.m.

Finally, the one event all family members can agree on, brunch. Enjoy the Jazz & Bubbles Brunch the final day, Sunday, Nov. 11, 12:30–3:30 p.m., with the location soon to be announced.

Needless to say, this event is an action-packed festival for fall food, drinks and fun. Another fun aspect of the event is the Savannah Food & Wine Festival is a non-profit occasion benefitting charities across Savannah, including Coastal Hospitality Education Foundation. CHEF provides educational scholarships for students in the culinary and hospitality field so you can easily feel good about joining celebrity chefs, winemakers and connoisseurs at dinner during this unique and one-of-a-kind culinary showcase.
