First Super Nintendo World in the United States to Open at Universal Studios Hollywood

Give your family travel a video game upgrade when Super Nintendo World opens at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2023. This will be the first of this innovative, immersive themed land to open in the United States.

The first Super Nintendo World opened at Universal Studios Japan in 2021, garnering consumer and critical praise, and now U.S. travelers will have a chance to delve into the world of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach. The themed land, a partnership between Nintendo and Universal Creative, delivers exhilarating entertainment and technological achievements, all inspired by the beloved characters and video games. It will open in a newly expanded area of the theme park with groundbreaking rides and interactives areas, designed to appeal to the whole family. Visitors can also expect themed shopping and dining.

The countdown has begun and, to celebrate, Super Nintendo World will take over the park’s Feature Presentation retail store. Families can gear up in anticipation of the 2023 opening with different merchandise, including Mario- and Luigi-themed apparel, character hats and plush characters like Yoshi and Bowser in different sizes.
