Parents, kids, grandparents and extended families can visit Florida Keys attractions, tours, nature and wildlife centers, museums, watersports, and other offerings with a value-added program providing free admission or special rates for children 12 and under — perfect for family travelers.
Through Oct. 13, families can visit KidsKeysDeals.com and find downloadable coupons or book visits to various attractions, tours and on-the-water options. The website links to businesses in the program and provides more information. Each child must be accompanied by at least one paying adult. Deals and offers are available to residents and visitors.
Spearheaded by the Key West Attractions Association, participating attractions include Key West Shipwreck Treasure Museum, Old Town Trolley Tours, Alex Vega Key West Firehouse Museum and Harry S. Truman Little White House.
On other islands in the Florida Keys, featured businesses include Islamorada’s History of Diving Museum, Marathon’s Turtle Hospital and the Middle Keys’ Dolphin Research Center. Watersports options are also available, like snorkeling and dolphin watching from operators including Fury Water Adventures and Sunset Watersports.
When little stomachs begin to growl, there’s also participating eateries like White Street Pizza, Island Dogs Bar and Rainbow Cone.
