Family travelers looking for the ultimate holiday destination should look no further than Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, the oceanfront resort on the coast of Riviera Nayarit.
Highlighted programming includes:
Roots That Shine: The Christmas Tree at Punta Mita
Roots That Shine is a living tribute inspired by the artisanal heritage of San Sebastián del Oeste, a historic village in the Sierra Madre mountains. The tree celebrates family, community and the bounty of the Nayarit Jungle with hand-painted clay ornaments created by a group of local women. Garlands with dried citrus, tropical foliage and bright flowers wrap the tree and bring a sense of natural beauty to the display.

On Dec. 5, be a part of the ceremonial tree lighting. The ceremony offers live regional music and storytelling honoring the artisans’ journey, festive welcome drinks, meet and greets with the women who created the ornaments, and an ornament pop-up shop where guests can purchase their own hand-crafted ornaments.
Noche Luminosa: An Elegant Dinner at Nuna Pool & a Radiant Celebration on Cuevas Beach
Say goodbye to 2025 with a Noche Luminosa celebration, an immersive New Year’s Eve event under the night sky. The night starts with dinner at Nuna Pool, where guests can enjoy an international menu with caviar and seafood towers, artisanal charcuterie and cheeses, prime rib, rack of lamb, seasonal salads, and a dessert station. Once dinner is over, the celebration moves to Cuevas beach with entertainment, interactive food stations and signature cocktails.

Nov 12, 2025Why It’s Important to Teach Kids How to Use Maps
The next time you’re on a family travel road trip — even a short one — try giving your kids an old-fashioned paper road map. If you don’t have one, your nearest visitor center will likely have highway maps for your state. Show them where you are and where you are going, and suggest they follow along on the map as you travel.
