Family travelers will want to head to Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort this summer for its new Grand Wailea Keiki Club, the property’s signature kids club offering Hawaiian cultural workshops, arts and crafts, games, and adventures.

Island Exploration

Kids can get outdoors and participate in adventures like a Maui scavenger hunt, seashell hunt and guided nature hikes. On certain days, they can visit the garden to pick produce and search tide pools for marine life.

‘Ohana Cultural Corner

At ‘Ohana Cultural Corner, kids learn about Hawaiian culture through ukulele lessons, Hawaiian print making, storytelling, and traditional games such as ‘ulu maika and kōnane.

 

Art Hour

Little travelers can get in touch with their creative side in art class with creative painting and design techniques while using seashells, sea glass and more.

 

Stories Unbound

Take a dive into Hawaiian history and legends while hearing traditional stories such as the Guardian Spirit, Shark Lady, Ho’onani the Hula Warrior, Limu the Blue Turtle, and Pele and Poli’ahu Tale of Fire and Ice.

Kids can let their energy out at this outdoor program, which features water play, an obstacle course, reusable water balloons, water twister and more.
