Great Wolf Lodge holds its Spring Breakout celebration through May 2, and, this year, the lodge partnered with One Tree Planted. Great Wolf Lodge committed to plant 100,000 trees through a $100,000 donation to the organization. During Spring Breakout, guests learn about the importance of trees to sustain a healthy ecosystem in ways that are fun for the whole family.
Digital Scavenger Hunt
Families can complete activities around the resort that help them learn more about the importance of trees and the pledge to plant 100,000 trees with One Tree Planted. At the end, families earn a certificate, available on mobile devices.
“Tree to Be” Yoga Trails
Families can yoga together with these fun activities designed to stimulate energy, imagination and self-expression.
Spring-Themed Crafts
Kids will love letting their imaginations run wild with a number of on-site activities, including Make Your Own Moochi Hand Puppet, Beaded Butterflies and Dragonflies, Spring Breakout Coloring Sheets and much more.
Spring Jamboree, Dance Party & Storytime
The lobby’s Spring Jamboree includes dancing the Spring Dance, chanting the Spring Breakout motto and more. The lobby dance party also includes a spring shower of bubbles and Great Wolf’s nightly story-time tale.
Character Photo Ops
Instagrammable moments can be found throughout the resort, with Great Wolf’s lovable characters roaming the property.
At Home
Great Wolf Lodge developed an at-home version of its scavenger hunt. Download the scavenger hunt, and upload your photos to social media with #GWLOneTreePlanted.
At the resort’s Buckhorn retail outlet, guests can “add a dollar” to the tree-planting campaign. Every $1 donated equals one tree planted; 100 percent of the proceeds benefit One Tree Planted.
