Through Dec. 31, family travelers can enjoy the most unexpected thing in Florida: a white Christmas. The Now Snowing in Celebration festival in Kissimmee, Florida, embraces winter traditions for both locals and visitors. Free to visit, families will love heading to the town built by Disney.

Step back in time in Celebration as it transforms into a winter wonderland. Activities include ice skating, horse-drawn carriage rides, train adventures and meeting Santa. The Now Snowing in Celebration is great for families and kids of all ages.
But perhaps the best part of the festival is the snowfall, a nightly spectacle culminating on Christmas Day. Nightly snowfall occurs daily at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

In addition to these activities and snowfall, the festival hosts a special holiday-themed Art Festival called Celebration Art Walk, held Dec. 16.
Ice-skating tickets are priced upon arrival and apply for 30-minute sessions from 4 to 10 p.m. nightly. Families can choose from several carriage and wagon rides, from a Cinderella carriage for up to four guests for $75 to a Christmas sleigh for up to four guests for $75. There’s also wagon rides and a Vis a Vis ride. Infants under 1 year are free to ride.
