Intrepid Tours has been a leader in family group tours for years. In 2026, the small-group tour company added 10 new family trips to its already robust lineup, with more to come.
Now, mythology-loving kids can head to Greece with Intrepid, while wildlife fanatics can head to Kenya or Botswana. Other Intrepid family tours include India, Japan, Korea, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt, Vietnam, Borneo, Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Bali, Thailand, Cambodia, Australia, Finland, Türkiye, Italy, Slovenia, Iceland, China, the Pyrenees in Andorra, and South Africa.
Currently, Intrepid offers three family tour styles: Basix, Original and Comfort. Each level offers different types of accommodations and activities. However, in April 2026, Intrepid will launch Premium family tours with departures starting in December. These trips, offered in select locations, include more activities and meals than others, as well as higher-level accommodations.
Intrepid’s premium tours for adults have been popular for years among those seeking higher-end hotels and more included activities. Families like mine look forward to premium offerings for family tours.
More travel options for families are always welcome news. Be sure to check out Intrepid’s newly expanded list of trips and stay tuned for more information!

With the program, TAP passengers, whether traveling for business, leisure or both, can stop in Portugal for up to 10 days at no additional airfare on the way to their final destination. What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.
