Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey, invites family travelers to experience its newest, immersive exhibit, Kaleidoscope Cove. The new exhibit opened June 28.

Kaleidoscope Cove features more than 100 aquatic species, with several never-before-seen species at Adventure Aquarium, including flashlight fish, poison dart frogs and purple-striped jellyfish. Set in a 2,000-square-foot space, the exhibit utilizes color and natural light from the aquarium’s waterfront windows, creating a living indoor kaleidoscope. As light changes during the day, so does the exhibit. The marine collection is organized by color, movement and bioluminescence instead of traditional geography or habitat categorization.
“Kaleidoscope Cove is our most ambitious renovation in over ten years, marking an exciting milestone for Adventure Aquarium,” said Jennifer Porter, executive director and vice president, Adventure Aquarium. “Every aspect of this new space is designed with our guests in mind—from its immersive, color-drenched atmosphere to interactive elements that inspire curiosity and connection with the ocean.”

In addition to the aquatic species, Kaleidoscope Cove features multisensory displays and experiences for all ages. Guests may draw their own sea creature and watch it swim across a digital ocean at the Draw Alive station. The Imagination Sand Station features a sand table with an interactive digital element. Hands-on marine life experiences are also available.
Access to Kaleidoscope Cove is included with aquarium admission.
