Kids Free San Diego Returns in October

Family travelers will want to consider San Diego for any travels in October, as the destination prepares for the return of the 11th annual Kids Free San Diego, offering big savings at hotels, restaurants, attractions, museums, tours and transportation companies. The unique deals for kids range from complimentary admission to free meals and more.

Here are some highlights of this year’s promotion, returning in October:

 

Attractions

  • San Diego Zoo offers free admission for kids 11 years old and younger, accompanied by a paying adult
  • At SeaWorld San Diego, children ages 3–9 receive free admission with one full-paid adult ticket; the park’s Spooktacular event runs through Oct. 31
  • Kids aged 2–12 also enjoy free admission at LEGOLAND California Resort with one paid adult admission

Hotels

  • Kids aged 12 and under receive a free meal for each paid adult entrée at Bahia Resort Hotel’s Dockside 1953
  • Kids (12 and younger) play, shop or eat for free with an island allowance worth $50 from Paradise Point Resort & Spa
  • La Valencia Hotel offers kids 12 and under an activity kit at check-in

 

Restaurants

  • Carnitas’ Snack Shack Embarcadero offers one free kid’s meal for kids 12 and under per paying adult
  • Kids aged 12 and under enjoy one free kid’s meal with the purchase of an adult meal at Samburgers
  • Up to three kids a receive a free meal from the kids menu per one paid adult entrée at Casa Guadalajara

 

Arts and Culture

  • Find three free activities for kids at Mission San Luis Rey
  • Kids receive free admission at Balboa Park museums like Museum of Us

  • A limit of four kids ride free with a paid cruise with The Gondola Company; an adult must be present
  • One kid 17 years and under rides free with a paid adult on a San Diego Whale Watch trip
