Stroll down a memory lane of innovative ideas gone wrong at the Museum of Failure

. First introduced as a research project in Helsingborg, Sweden, the Museum of Failure was such a success, it went on tour and is now in California for a limited time.

With more than 100 failed products to reminisce about, the museum offers a unique look at grand business ventures and their fade from popular culture. See how many of these once buzzed-about items you and the kids remember or maybe even owned.

The Museum of Failure’s collection consists of an interesting mix of failed products and services from around the world, including Google Glass, Harley Davidson Perfume, Bic for Her, the Trump board game and the Nokia N-gage mobile phone for gamers.

Not in the Helsingborg area? The Museum of Failure is currently on tour with a pop-up exhibit in LA, through Feb. 4. Located in the A + D Architecture and Design Museum, guests stroll through exhibits with everything from the Segway to frozen beef lasagna by Colgate.

Learn from expensive and ambitious failures produced over the years with ticket prices ranging $8–15 per person, $10 per group and free admission for children 12 and younger. Check out ticket pricing, tour options and calendar information here before planning your trip.

Check out brand disasters and failed concepts from the 17th century to present day. The museum is a family affair and showcases a bit of fun for everyone.

For families living in LA or who will be traveling there soon, check out the unique, failure-themed evening events and family-friendly activities. Enjoy experimental brews and cocktails with the older kids while listening to live piano featuring only unsuccessful music by famous composers. Check out the museum Wednesday through Sunday. Order tickets online to avoid lines and crowds once you arrive.

Best of Both Worlds

Enjoy the best of both worlds when you fly with TAP Air Portugal thanks to the Portugal Stopover program. With the program, TAP passengers, whether traveling for business, leisure or both, can stop in Portugal for up to 10 days at no additional airfare on the way to their final destination. What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from  Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.
