Family travelers with older and adult children can now enjoy some added options for active travel with the launch of Dolce Tempo Easygoing tours by Backroads. Travelers can choose walking, e-bike or multiadventure tours that can be as active as they choose. Families can also opt to spend more time exploring the local culture.
Designed for families with teens 17 and over and those with young adults aged 20 and beyond, these easy-going vacations have more downtime built into the itineraries, with flexible options allowing different generations of a family to go at their own pace.
The new Dolce Tempo Easygoing Family Trips make it possible for families to travel together, while joining other members of the tour group in activities designed for their age group. Tours include destinations in the United States and Europe.
Family Walking Tours include A Taste of Camino de Santiago, California’s Yosemite, and the Cinque Terre and Tuscany in Italy. E-bike tour itineraries are offered in Tuscany’s Chianti region, Belgium and the Netherlands, and a route from Santa Barbara to Ojai in California.
Two Family Multi-Adventure tours are on offer in the United States: Maine’s Acadia National Park and Utah’s Bryce Canyon and Zion. In Europe, families can choose from itineraries like Croatia to Montenegro, Iceland’s Glaciers & Coast, Santorini & Crete, and Switzerland.
