Family travel can be dedicated to doing good as Omni Hotels & Resorts recently announced the launch of Omni Junior Chefs, slated to roll out nationwide this month to more than 50 Omni hotels and resorts. The program seeks to not only elevate children’s dining experiences, but also to give young hotel guests the chance to give back and help end food insecurity. The program coincides with Omni’s Say Goodnight to Hunger milestone of 20 million meals donated in partnership with Feeding America. The Junior Chefs program now allows the young hotel guests to also donate a meal to those in need.

“Omni Hotels & Resorts is dedicated to hunger relief and we believe in not just giving back, but encouraging our guests to participate, first-hand, in the hopes that they will take some of that home with them to their own communities after their stay,” said Peter Strebel, president, Omni Hotels & Resorts. “Now with our Junior Chefs program, we can reach and inspire guests from an early age on the importance of philanthropy and giving back.”

Upon arrival, kids 10 and younger will receive a complimentary Junior Chefs tote filled with crayons, an activity book, organic snacks and juice boxes. The program will also feature elevated Omni Junior Chefs kids’ menus at Omni restaurants, with dishes focusing on locally inspired, kid-friendly fare.

The program will also include a Say Goodnight to Hunger postcard redeemable for one meal donation to a child or person in need, as well as a Say Goodnight to Hunger bracelet while supplies last.
