See Baby Wild Animals This Spring in Wyoming

Spring is the perfect time for family travelers to flock to Wyoming. The state transforms into a safe haven for wildlife welcoming new baby animals. Grab your hiking shoes and head out into the wild to catch a glimpse of baby animals and Wyoming’s beautiful scenery.

Grizzly Bears

You’ll know spring has sprung when you see grizzly bears and their cubs emerging from dens as temperatures rise. These beautiful animals can be spotted in Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone.

Bison

Bison and their young calves roam free in Yellowstone, so make sure to keep an eye out for them in their natural habitat. Smaller herds can also be found at Wind River Indian Reservation, Hot Springs State Park, Terry Bison Ranch and Bear River State Park.

Moose, Elk, Black Bear and Big-Horned Sheep

All four species and their newborn babies can be spotted in destinations like Jackson Hole, Grand Teton, Yellowstone, Bighorn National Forest, Absaroka Mountains and Wind River Range.

Mountain Goats
