If you’re looking for thrills on your family travel, check out the enhancements coming to Six Flags New England in time for its 2022 season. These mark the largest array of improvements in more than a decade and include new culinary options, wow experiences and park enhancements.

“For the 2022 season we will focus on improving our guests’ experience through technology, innovation, park enhancements and renovation,” said Pete Carmichael, president, Six Flags New England. “As New England’s premier family entertainment destination, we’re laser-focused on providing incredible guest service in a beautiful, modern, and state-of-the art environment.”
Here’s a closer look at the enhancements:
- Single-Rider Lines shorten wait times and allow rides to operate with the maximum number of guests. This feature is available on Batman The Dark Knight, Harley Quinn Spinsanity, Supergirl Sky Flyer and other high-speed attractions.
- Q SMART Technology replaces THE FLASH Pass Q-bot to allow guests to maximize their time in the park at the touch of a button.
- This season sees a greater focus on “wow” moments and guest interactions.
- The park’s executive chef created new delicious, healthy culinary offerings like apple walnut salad and much more.
- Mobile food ordering is now available at a variety of locations throughout the park with the Six Flags app.
- The all-new Metro Pub and Storm Bar offer seasonal beverages, mocktails and themed cocktails.
- Mobile Guest Relations locations will now be located throughout the park.
- More than 100 new picnic tables have been spread out throughout Six Flags New England.
- Guests can expect a new entry experience, as well.

The 2022 season opened April 9, with Six Flags New England open weekends and select days through April 24. Also new this year is the three-tiered pass program: the Thrill Seeker Pass, perfect for frequent visitors; the Extreme Pass, good year-round with no blackout dates; and the Ultimate Pass, offering the best value for everything included.
