Open-Air Cinemas
June through September, cinephiles can visit open-air cinemas throughout the city to enjoy classic films. Popular locations include the banks of Lake Zurich, along Limmat River and the courtyard of Swiss National Museum.
Zurich Art Weekend
Celebrate contemporary art during the weekend festival, June 9–11. The festival features more than 50 exhibitions and 200 events during the three-day celebration, including guided art tours, lectures and studio visits.

Zurich Pride Festival
June 16–17, the LGBTQI+ festival has been running since 1994 and draws thousands of spectators. The celebration includes concerts and a parade.
Züri Fäscht
The largest festival in Switzerland, Züri Fäscht takes place once every three years. The popular event at the Limmat River features food stalls, live music and fireworks. This year’s event takes place July 7–9.
Street Parade
This annual August event draws thousands of electronic music fans from around the world. Held Aug. 12 this year, the event hosts hundreds of DJs at seven stages around Lake Zurich basin.
Zurich Openair Music Festival
The largest and most popular open-air festival in Zürich hosts more than 80 international performances. This year’s event takes place Aug. 22–26.
