The Plantation Adventure Center & Dive Shop is located on site at Plantation on Crystal River. The manatee tour boats are enclosed, with hot chocolate and coffee, warming boat coats and towel service. The boats are equipped with power poles to limit environmental impact. The manatee tours are available year-round, but prime manatee viewing season runs Nov. 15–March 31.
