Take Your Family to Gstaad Palace with These Summer Offerings

Head to the Swiss Alps for your summer family travel and book a stay at Gstaad Palace. Located in Gstaad, Switzerland, the property boasts a lineup of family-friendly activities for the summer.


Ride through the mountains on an e-bike made by Swiss brand Thömus Bikes. The resort’s new fleet includes the Lightrider E2 for downhill rides and the Longrider E2 for extended rides.


The on-site GreenGo nightclub opened for the season on July 21 with a kick-off party. A local DJ hosts sessions Friday and Saturday through Aug. 26, starting at 11:30 p.m. GreenGo also hosts a Polo Gala Night on Aug. 19 for the Hublot Polo Gold Cup.

Enjoy an Open-Air Palace Brunch on the property’s stunning grounds. Weather permitting, the experience is available every Sunday through Aug. 13. Guests may arrange a mountain picnic with the concierge team for a more secluded dining option. For oenophiles, the Martel Summer Wine Course takes place on Sept. 1 with a sampling of wines.


Young guests can visit the hotel’s Kids’ Club, with a special visit from the Gstaad Palace mascot, Sammy the Dog. Enjoy movie screenings and bouncy castle access throughout the summer. The club hosts special events including a family scavenger hunt and the eighth annual Kids Grand Prix.


Celebrate Switzerland’s 732nd birthday and Swiss National Day with a four-course meal and fireworks on Aug. 1.
