Christmas may be over, but it’s never too early for family travelers to start planning for next year. Luxury tour operator Tauck recently announced a new river cruise for 2025, its first-ever holiday cruise in France.
The Seine: Holiday Magic sailing begins in Paris, aboard Tauck’s ms Sapphire riverboat. This eight-day itinerary kicks off with two full days in Paris, exploring the city’s Christmas markets, including those in Tuileries Garden. Guests then have the option to visit Cluny Museum or Sainte-Chapelle. Other cities featured on the tour include Rouen, Les Andelys, Vernon and Normandy. Highlights include a private tour and cocktail party at Château de Bizy, private lunch and afternoon tea at Château Vaux-le-Vicomte, and a choice of guided visits to Normandy’s historic D-Day beaches or Rouen Fine Arts Museum.
Guests enjoy festive music and interactive holiday activities aboard ms Sapphire during the sailing. Five departures will be available. Pricing starts at $4,490 per person and is inclusive of shore excursions, gratuities, onboard beverages, meals, taxes, fees and airport transfers.
The Seine: Holiday Magic joins Tauck’s four other Christmas market-themed river cruises, including two on the Danube, one on the Rhine and one on the waterways of Belgium and Holland.
