Hotels

Although Texas is known for its Western style, it still offers sophisticated, luxury hotels and experiences. The state’s upscale hotels show family travelers what it means to travel in luxury.

Albert Hotel

Set to open this month in Fredericksburg, Albert Hotel offers a place for guests to unwind in a boutique setting. The property features 105 guestrooms, four restaurants, two bars, a pool and poolside bar, and a full-service spa.

Hall Park Hotel

Frisco’s newest hotel, Hall Park Hotel, offers a sophisticated suburban retreat. The hotel, situated by Kaleidoscope Park, has 224 rooms, 60 of which are suites with kitchenettes and balconies overlooking the park. Guests can also enjoy a chef-driven Northern Italian restaurant and an outdoor pool with a bar.

Crescent Hotel

For those looking for a stay blending luxury with history, book at Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth. Stay in one of the hotel’s 200 guestrooms or 12 suites, indulge in unique culinary offerings at Emilia’s, and relax at Canyon Ranch Wellness Club + Spa.

Thompson Houston

A hotel with sophistication and views of the downtown skyline? Say less. Thompson Houston features 172 contemporary rooms, including 34 luxury suites. Check out the city’s largest rooftop pool decks and treat yourself to a treatment at the full-service spa.

Hotel Saint Augustine

Hotel Saint Augustine brings a boutique charm to Houston. The 71-room property includes a restaurant run by Chef Aaron Bludorn, an intimate lobby bar and a courtyard pool set within lush landscaping.

Hotel 1928

Those headed to Waco should stay in Hotel 1928, which blends past and present with its detailed restoration. The boutique hotel has 33 rooms, two distinct restaurants and a rooftop terrace with stunning views.
