Family travelers will love the new programming, local partnerships, rich cultural experiences, impactful community initiatives and other compelling offerings available at The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay.

 

Through a partnership with OluKai, Turtle Bay’s Meet the Legends series welcomes guests and locals to talks with Hawaiian icons; the resort also boasts daily cultural programming. Turtle Bay offers something for every member of the family, from guided kayak tours, Jamie O’Brien Surf Experience, Paniolo Lūʻau, Kuilima Farm, Nalu Spa and other activities. At Kuilima Farm, native crops like taro, breadfruit and coconut are harvested for use in the resort’s menus, cocktails and spa treatments. The weekly Paniolo, A Hawaiian Cowboy Luau celebrates Hawaiian ranching culture. Explore filming spots at the resort, which has served as the backdrop for more than 150 films and TV shows.

  • Intro to Surf | Jamie O’Brien Surf Experience: Offered daily, 9:30–10 a.m., catch a wave.
  • Stargazing | Stargazers of Hawaii: The stargazing experience is guided by a seasoned astronomer every Tuesday for $115 per person. Reservations required.
  • Kuilima Farm Tour: Explore Kuilima Farm with more than 460 acres of agricultural land.
  • Sunset | Live Music: Soak in the sunset with live acoustic music.
  • Off the Lip | Live Music: At Off The Lip, enjoy live local music, fresh cocktails and ocean views.
  • Paniolo, A Hawaiian Cowboy Luau: This is held weekly on Wednesday evenings.
  • ‘Ukulele Lesson: Perfect for all levels, reservations are recommended for this event in the Lobby every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 8–9 a.m.
  • Lei Making | ‘Okika Creations: The complimentary lei making experience (reservations recommended) takes place in the Lobby every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9–10 a.m.
  • Hula ʻAuana Lessons: The Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay’s expert kumu teach traditional movements and storytelling through dance every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10–11 a.m.; complimentary for resort guests, with reservations recommended.
  • Pony Meet & Greet | The Stables: Meet the resort’s ponies at The Stables and enjoy a hands-on grooming experience every Sunday 2:30–3 p.m.
  • Paint Paʻina: The guided painting class, complete with all supplies and expert instruction, is offered Wednesday and Friday 6–8 p.m. at Hoʻolana lobby café for $115 per person, with reservations required.
