Diehard Disney fans who know the value of a Disney Magic Key Pass enjoy incredible benefits on their family travel. While new sales for Disney’s Magic Pass Keys may be temporarily on hold, those who already have them can continue to renew them and still enjoy the incredible benefits, including some introduced this year.
There are four types of Magic Key Passes: Believe Key, Enchant Key, Inspire Key and Imagine Key. (Dream Keys are no longer available for either purchase or renewal.) Each key comes with its own unique benefits. For example, Believe and Inspire Key holders enjoy an unlimited Digital PhotoPass that comes with unlimited digital photo downloads. All four types of pass holders receive discounts on certain merchandise and dining experiences throughout the parks.
The Magic Key Pass not only lets you make reservations for Disney theme parks, but also can hold more than one date at a time. In addition, key holders get access to special Magic Key celebrations, special previews of new theme park experiences, discounts at certain Downtown Disney stores and occasional discounts on Disneyland Resort hotel stays.
While visiting the parks, Magic Key holders also receive embroidery on the iconic Disney Ear hats, access to Magic Pass Terrace for a unique dining experience and special menu items only available to pass holders at park restaurants.
In 2022, benefits for existing Magic Key holders increased to include a special Magic Key magnet, discounted theme park parking (for Imagine and Enchantment Key holders) and a discount on Disney Genie+, an additional feature of the Disney Genie app bringing ease and convenience to your day at the park.
Hopefully, Magic Key Passes will be available for purchase again soon, but, in the meantime, those lucky enough to already have them can continue to enjoy the parks with all the extras that come along with them.
