The undisputed Thrill Capital of the World invites family travelers to experience fun rides, live entertainment, festive décor and more this year. Six Flags Magic Mountain has much in store for 2025. In celebration of spring, summer and the holiday seasons, the park will be open daily for select periods (March 7–April 28, May 16–Aug. 18, Nov. 21–Dec. 1 and Dec. 12–Jan. 4).
Here’s what’s coming this year:
DC Heroes and Villains (Friday and Saturday, June 20–July 12)
Expect exclusive character appearances, live entertainment and more as DC Heroes have the ultimate showdown against villains. Located in DC UNIVERSE starting at 5 p.m.

Star Spangled Nights (July 4–5)
Celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks show synchronized to tunes of patriotic music.
Fright Fest Presented by SNICKERS (select nights, Sept. 19–Nov. 2)
This event features haunted houses, eerie scare zones and spine-chilling live entertainment.
Oktoberfest (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26–Nov. 2)
Germany’s world-famous Oktoberfest comes to Magic Mountain, complete with authentic German food, beverages, music and family-friendly entertainment. The park’s most popular rides also remain open these days.

Tricks and Treats (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 26–Nov. 2)
This new event is bigger and better than the park’s previous BooFests. Happening in the daytime, Tricks and Treats features Halloween activities for kids and adults. Come dressed in your best Halloween attire for the costume contest, and don’t miss the treats, drinks and candy available.
