Sports fans have several important events to check out in California next year. Super Bowl LX will be held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, in February. The highly anticipated 2026 FIFA World Cup will host 14 matches at locations in Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay area in June and July. NASCAR will host its first-ever races on an active military base in San Diego in June.
Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opens in 2026 on 11 acres of Los Angeles’ Exposition Park. LEGOLAND California Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood both debut new rollercoasters in 2026. The one-of-a-kind art experience Meow Wolf debuts its sixth permanent exhibition, and first in California, in Los Angeles in 2026.
Family travelers will have exciting new and refreshed accommodation options for 2026, including Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara, Six Senses Napa Valley and Outbound Yosemite Resorts.
