Cleveland, Ohio, offers family travelers new programming and expanded attractions for 2026.

AC Hotel by Marriott will debut in 2026, with 141 guestrooms in a restored 1896 building. Further down the pipeline, The Marriott Tribute Hotel and W Hotel are expected to debut in the city in 2027.

Two of Cleveland’s most popular attractions will unveil expansions in 2026. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will open its highly anticipated $175 million expansion in fall 2026. The expansion adds 50,000 square feet to the space while maintaining the building’s iconic glass pyramid design. Cleveland Metroparks Zoo debuts the first phase of its $120 million Primate Forest in 2026. The immersive new habitat showcases orangutans and other primate species.

Progressive Field enters the final phase of its $200 million renovation project, adding upgraded seating and enhanced fan experiences.

Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood emerges as a growing culinary hot spot, with upgrades to historic West Side Market and the opening of an indoor/outdoor beer garden at Noble Beast Brewing.

The city marks the country’s 250^th anniversary in 2026 with its own celebrations. Cleveland History Center features programming highlighting Clevelanders who contributed great things to the United States. Ohio’s statewide Trails & Tales program further showcases Cleveland’s role in the American experience.
