Destinations / North America

Wyoming has plenty of exciting adventures for family travelers in 2024.

The state’s second-largest city, Casper, is home to the new, 36,000-square-foot Casper Pickleball & Sports Complex. The facility boasts seven pickleball courts and seven batting cages. The Range at 5150 features four indoor golf simulators and a full bar. Cygnet Brewing will open in March as downtown Casper’s ninth brewery.

Other local breweries worth checking out include recently opened Tongue River Brewery in Ranchester and soon-to-debut Pushroot Brewing Company in Lander.

Jackson, Wyoming, has several openings slated for 2024. Snow King Observatory and Planetarium is expected to open in June 2024. The state-of-the-art facility will feature immersive exhibits and shows. The iconic Rusty Parrot Lodge and Spa is set to reopen in May or June following a structure fire in 2019.

Book a stay at the newly opened Paintrock Canyon Ranch. This all-inclusive guest ranch offers guests a variety of outdoor experiences on its 80,000-acre grounds.

Based in Sheridan, Sheridan Pilots 307 offers scenic flights, helicopter tours and flight simulator experiences.

The upcoming Bears in the Basin art installation features bear statues throughout Park County, with nine in Cody, six in Powell and four in Meeteetse. View the statues on the route to Yellowstone National Park.

Best of Both Worlds

Enjoy the best of both worlds when you fly with TAP Air Portugal thanks to the Portugal Stopover program. With the program, TAP passengers, whether traveling for business, leisure or both, can stop in Portugal for up to 10 days at no additional airfare on the way to their final destination. What does this mean for travelers wishing to explore by both land and sea? It means after flying to Portugal with TAP and experiencing the country in an entirely new way, travelers can then embark on scenic river and ocean cruises from  Portugal’s port cities, or fly with TAP to another European destination.
