Winter Activities at Topnotch Resort and Stowe, Vermont

Outdoor Fun

Head to the 5.3-mile Stowe Recreation Path for a snowshoeing experience. The path stretches from the base of Topnotch Resort out to Stowe Village. Cross-country skiing is also available on the path. Ski rental is available via Topnotch’s Mountain Ops. If skating is more your speed, enjoy ice skating at Stowe Arena, located at Stowe Village.

 

Go on a dog sledding adventure through Vermont’s backcountry with Umiak Outfitters or Eden Dog Sledding. For another animal experience, visit Topnotch’s equestrian center and take a trail ride. The experience is available for horse riders of all skill levels.

 

Stay Inside

Take advantage of Topnotch’s après ski opportunities after hitting the slopes. Sip on a glass of wine or specialty cocktail at the resort’s outdoor fire pits or head in for dinner at The Roost, featuring local ingredients. If you prefer venturing beyond the property for a drink, book a tour with Stowe Tasting Tours. The company offers visits to microbreweries, cideries and distilleries.

 

Indulge in a treatment at Topnotch Spa. The spa boasts 30 treatment rooms with a variety of offerings including 10 different types of massages, alternative medicine therapies and facials. Before or after your treatment, take a dip at Topnotch’s 60-foot solarium indoor pool.
