Luxury

If your young one yearns to be a princess for the day, Dromoland Castle, in County Clare, Ireland, is the perfect option for your next family trip. Its history, dating back to the 16th century and evident in the crenellated battlements, walled garden and grand accommodations, ensure the resort already feels like entering a fairy tale. Two new packages make those dreams of being a true princess come true!

Princess of the Castle

Princesses possess beauty, good manners, strength and kindness. Dromoland’s Princess Lilah accompanies kids on a special royal day, teaching them the ways of a true Celtic princess preparing for coronation.

The day includes:

  • Royal room service breakfast
  • Princess gown
  • A spa visit for hair and nails
  • Lessons on deportment, song and traditional dance
  • In on-site Great Kincora Hall, surrounded by royal family, the princess signs the property’s ancient Celtic Book, and is then declared a princess, complete with certificate and crown
  • A post-coronation royal afternoon tea for the princess and family

Princess of the Castle starts at €1,050.

Honorary Princess of the Castle

This offer begins similarly to Princess of the Castle, but, as the time comes for the coronation ceremony, it is discovered the quill to sign the Celtic book has been stolen! The soon-to-be princess then follows clues around the castle grounds to find the quill, locked in a magical box that can only be opened by a real princess. Then, the princess and group celebrate at afternoon tea. Pricing starts at €4,500.

Knights, keep your eye out for a Knight’s Package, coming soon!
