Atlantis Paradise Island, Bahamas
Atlantis Paradise Island hosts a Juvenile Sea Turtle Release program. The interactive 2.5-hour excursion starts at the Fish Hospital where guests learn about sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation. Next, guests have the opportunity to “adopt” and release endangered green sea turtles back into the wild. The family-friendly program is available on select days for guests ages 6 and older.

Destin-Fort Walton Beach, Florida
Head to northwest Florida for the area’s Sea Turtle Hero Initiative, now through Oct. 31. Stop by Destin-Fort Walton Beach Welcome + Adventure Center for a complimentary conservation packet complete with a turtle-friendly red flashlight, mission instructions, commemorative pin and more. Create safe conditions for hatchlings to journey to the ocean by properly disposing of trash and filling holes in the sand that may obstruct the path.
Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Book a stay at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa and experience its turtle rescue releases. The property partners with conservation facility Cayman Turtle Centre on this experience, giving guests an up-close view of rescued turtles returning to the ocean. The resort is also home to an on-site dive operator for easy access to local marine life viewing on snorkeling excursions.
