Age Specific / Kids

Need another reason to visit New York City in winter with young children? How about LEGO LIVE NYC, set to run Feb. 16–18 at Pier 36 in Manhattan? Highlights will include life-sized LEGO creations, workshops with Master LEGO builders and a whole menu of interactive LEGO activities.

The inaugural U.S. event, designed to attract locals and visitors of all ages, will include a range of interactive themed play zones, each offering a distinct experience. There will be classic building challenges, for example, and workshops where kids can use coding and robotic technology to program a multifunctional model.

At the Master Lab Help Desk, families can get one-on-one advice and show off their creations to LEGO Master Builders, as well as explore the latest LEGO building sets, compete in building challenges and take photos with LEGO models based on characters from such iconic films and LEGO properties as Star Wars and NINJAGO.

Families can download the LEGO Life app, a safe, social network for kids that offer details on show activities and insider tips. The LEGO Life team will host exclusive opportunities to build, capture and share unique LEGO creations made at the show with the broader community of LEGO fans in the app.
