Family travelers to Orlando have a new option for family- and pet-friendly accommodations thanks to the recent opening of Hotel Landy, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. Located on Universal Boulevard and minutes from theme parks, the convention center and the airport, Hotel Landy takes over the former Hotel Kinetic, joining Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio collection.

Featuring 400 guestrooms and suites, the hotel captures Orlando’s buzzing energy from check-in to check-out. Guestrooms range from standard and premium double king and king configurations to junior and presidential suites. Rooms and suites incorporate geometric shapes and patterns along the walls, and come with a fridge, science-focused literature for kids and La Bottega bathroom amenities.
Hotel Landy is home to three distinctive dining concepts. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Émilie Bar & Lounge, pays homage to Émilie du Châtelet, an 18th-century French mathematician whose work led to the development of rollercoasters and is the basis for modern-day rides. This restaurant opens daily at 4 p.m. and serves dinner and, for parents and adult children, cocktails.

Orly’s Market is another place to grab food, serving up Starbucks coffee, pastries, fresh fruit, oatmeal, pancakes, omelets and more. Starting at noon, Orly’s Market offers shareable snacks, sandwiches, salads and more.
When the sun is out, be sure to pop over to Liquid Sunshine, the poolside beverage truck parents and adult children will love. Think beer, wine, cocktails and canned drinks to cool off. Of course, Liquid Sunshine accompanies Hotel Landy’s resort-style pool, open to all guests.

Other amenities of Hotel Landy include Landy Lawn, an open green space shaded by palm trees and available for lawn games. A yoga studio and fully equipped gym are also available to guests.
And for kids wanting even more fun after a day at the theme parks, Hotel Landy’s 24/7 Kinetic Game Room invites kids and kids at heart to play retro arcade games, dueling Sudoku walls, air hockey and more.
